You will be right on the doorstep of the Sugarbush skiing and golf resort, a few short miles from Mad River Glen and just minutes from the centers of Warren & Waitsfield. The Mad River Valley offers a wide variety of activities all year round. The Long Trail is just minutes away and the Catamount Trail goes right through our grounds. Nearby activities include hiking, kayaking, soaring, fly fishing, golf, downhill skiing & snowboarding, cross country skiing, sleigh rides and more.
West Hill House is in the midst of Vermont countryside at its best with many local attractions including covered bridges, waterfalls, famous Vermont food like Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and cabot Cheese, artisans of all kinds, and of course beautiful scenery.
You will enjoy comfort, hospitality and a delicious breakfast. We have 9 guest rooms and suites with gas fireplaces, A/C, TVs, free phone calls and WiFi, all with large private ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzis and/or steam showers. Check the "Plan a Stay" menu on the left for more room details.

The Mad River Valley is the perfect place to relax: beautiful scenery year round, no traffic lights, no fast food, and with all restaurants and lodging locally owned and operated. With warm weather hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, golf and tennis, soaring, spectacular foliage season autumn colors and wintertime downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sleigh riding all nearby, Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley is a great place to visit at any season of the year! And don't forget the month long Vermont Festival of the Arts in August.
Sugarbush/Warren airport is nearby and during the summer months - May to October - you can arrive by private plane and we will meet you at the airport and have a rental car ready for you.
